I am an ordinary person and I live a very normal life. I am not a scholar or saint. I am a wife, I have a job, I plan to be a mother one day, and I am a current United Methodist layperson.
I am dealing with how the introduction of Orthodox Christianity is affecting life as I know it. My husband started down the road to Orthodoxy and I went along for the ride, but I am quickly seeing how its Truth is seeping into every aspect of my life and sometimes it’s great, but sometimes – just sometimes – I really hate it.
My knowledge of Orthodoxy (and Christianity in general) is elementary. Not everything I say is going to be fact, right, consistent, or even grammatically correct. But please feel free to browse and see where this journey is taking me.
